Every day, or at least once a week do something that terrifies you.

Being a professional artist is........exciting, nerve racking, emotionally fulfilling and draining. It means every day showing up to a studio in which some days are pretty damn long and lonely and other days......well you don't even know where the last three hours just went! It is a profession that can be inspiring, stimulating and is always pushing me forward, always challenging my way of viewing everything...from how a table is set to the obvious cues from nature.

I love to express myself through the medium of paint. My biggest challenge is to trust in the process of painting; to understand the journey that is involved in making a painting, and to know when to stop and let my paintings be.
